After spending hours on a project I came up with a simple solution.
Instead of handling both Meters to Feet and Feet to Meters in the same class, create a third class that allows me to do the two actions separately.
The main class has the GUI poopz and it allows the user to select whether they want to convert from Feet to Meters or if they want to convert from Meters to Feet.
The former selection loads one class while the latter loads the new class. Now I just need to add an output window and hope it works. I'm just lazy and don't want to do it, so it might take a while.
