I think one of them is the second human player so their character isn't the one affected by the story mode.

Mabye... but the choices for those characters were decided depending on the point in the story the level was, were they not?

My theory is that he is gonna give us S*** until he has the amount of days left as the amount of characters left then start updating a character a day.
