Kind of saddened by this... :'(
There's still hope. He said it himself, so don't give up yet.
Oh well. Rayman still has a chance.
I wonder if they talked to ubisoft yet.....

true....unfortunately
Great. That means that I was right about something.
i didnt want him in anyway...
I don't particularly care for Megaman in Brawl... But for those who do, remember, he said that they hadn't been asked yet. Sakurai said he would continue improving Brawl, possibly including new characters. Therefore, Megaman might not have been originally planned to be in, he still has a chance.
Maybe Sakurai forgot to ask. :O :P As likely as that is, however, the fact that there is not much time until Brawl comes out makes me think that Megaman doesn't really have a chance. The game is probably getting closer to the end of its development, and since Sakurai hasn't even started getting Megaman ready for Brawl, the chance of him being a playable character is low.
It's really disappointing for me because the older Megaman games are some of my favorites. I hope, at least, he makes it as an AT.

There are going to be newcomers added until like the start of February, and based on how much Sakurai wants to put in the game, he'll be working on the game until like a few days before they have to start printing discs.
When he told us about the delay he said that it would help to make the game its best and provide extra development, but I don't think he said he was going to keep adding characters. Was there another article that I missed somewhere?
Siegfried!!! :P
Sakurai said that he was only planning on having 2-3 third party characters, so if Megaman is in, that's it for third parties.
As for how many characters, he said he was planning around 45, I think.

I thought he said 2-3 EXCLUDING Snake.

Actually, I believe he said there were only about two more third party spots other than Snake. Therefore, 2-3 third party characters. He also said that the number of third party representatives was liable to change.

However, I believe that this close to release, these 2-3 third party characters and 45 total would have been almost all chosen by now.
I don't really care for third parties so it really doesn't bother me but I wouldn't mind if he was in.
YAAY. Megaman wouldn't really fit in Brawl, I'm glad he's not in. Maybe the person on gamespot really was a journalist who went to a brawl advertising video and overheard them saying Moogle's in.
Somehow I think i'll live.
Now Namco and Ubisoft has a chance. ;)

Ya, but Klonoa has a way worse chance than pacman...
I'll be happy if Mr. Namco gets in. :)
But most likely not, bacuase it's a character I made. :(

They're called tetrominoes. And I'd rather have Klonoa over Pacman... Can't say why... I've never played Klonoa's games...

It's 0% actually. Japan gets Brawl in a month. Sakurai has to have had the game finished a while ago so they can start making copies and preparing for shipment.
