I am. Just to stare at all the pictures.
The only reason I would need a strategy guide is to find out how to unlock characters, and I have the internet for that.

Well I'm a meh Smash player and I would rather pull out a book for my strategies than go on Gamefaqs.
Plus I like to read them.

And it usually has good art in the guides, too.
Whenever it's a big game like Brawl, I always not only get the guide, I get the special hardcover edition. :D
Yeah, but just to look at the pictures like Triforce_Luigi said.

Strategies? Gamefaqs is better, as you get multiple, more informed opinions. Nintendo said caping was frowned upon, I don't think they are very trustworthy.

Yes, because they
do have some pretty pictures.
I don't waste money on stuff like that. My strategy will fall in to place as I see the character moves and get the feel of the characters.

This one is made by Prima.
Always buy Prima guides, not Nintendo Players Guides.
They tell you stuff like wavedashing, black hole glitch, etc.

NO ITS NOT OK
I said the melee prima guide didn't have anything in it worthwhile, not to mention most of the advanced techs won't be discovered until slightly after the release of the game.
You know what, you're right.
I really don't get guides for games this open-ended.

What's the point of using all three of them? You should only need two. Youtube, and depending on how much money you have and your actual interest in smash, the guide or the internet. Besides, the guide only has strategies for computers, not actual people.
yeah i probably will but i will try not to look at it as much as i can

I guess I'll just look at the guide at the store to find out the final roster.
I might get one just to have a pretty book on Brawl. <3
Probably, but after the game comes out I will probably stop looking at it...
That is, if it comes out a week or two before the game.
