The game itself is stupid enough -- monsters of men running around in tights grabbing each other, but what's worse is that the entire "season" consists of only 16 games. That's ridiculous. How can a team possibly prove its alleged skill in 16 weeks? Someone could easily be injured for half or all of those games.
And it's so commercialised, it's not even funny.
I'm not a fan of any sports in particular (well, I follow NHL hockey), but if I had to pick any that was engineered purely for entertainment and the fans, it would be American football.
Yeah, pro sports like hockey and baseball and basketball all have a huge entertainment element, but at least with 80-100 or more games a season there's actually room to develop legitimate standings.
I guess you picked the right place to complain. :-X
Have you ever played football?
Yeah foot ball is awsome but I admit it is commercialized

No, the only time I've played any sports is in PE in middle school.
I don't mean to say anyone who plays football is stupid, or that football itself can't be fun. I'm just talking about pro football.

Well, how do you know the game itself is stupid when you've never played it?
Aren't sports supposed to be for entertainment? Pro sports anyway.

I like pro-football, but it's too commercialized I agree. There should be more games too, and most of the players are idiots(Note i said most, some are nice)
They kinda ruined football which kinda sucks since it is a good sport.

Yeah, let's take WWE for example!
World Wrestling Entertainment
(It's in the name)
LOL!
Whether it be fake or not, if it's enjoyable it shouldn't matter.
I enjoy watching pro-football, although it is commersialized way too much.
I think one of the reasons that football has only sixteen games is because it is so physically demanding. Other sports can have back to back games, but football players require rest after the beating that they endure during a game. Ugh, I would type more about this, but blah.....

I really don't understand WWE...
It scares me. :(
Especially that big fat dude.
FINALLY someone who agrees with me.

I disagree :(
Especially with the first part. Football is a great sport. Entertaining. Not pointless. Hockey by far is worse. It's a very entertaining sport.
