Title: What's your gaming audio setup?
Post by: Zovistograt on December 30, 2007, 05:52:36 PM
How does sound travel from your game console to your ears, in other words?

My Wii's red and white RCA cables are plugged into twin couplers that have a male RCA plugged in at one end of the wire and an 1/4" audio jack at the other end.  A 1/8" headphone jack is plugged into that jack that's plugged into the jack on the wire (olol) so that I can use any type of headphones or my speaker/massage cushion on my gaming chair for sound.

You?

Wii is connected to old stereo, probably about 10-15 years old. GREAT sound.

Um.. From my ps2, it goes through a system selector, which goes out through a 3.5mm plug adapter, and into my computer's speakers.

Everything goes through that besides my Cable wire, my Computer is also connected to my tv.

Depends who's there.

If I'm alone, I have this awesome chair that produces Stero with speakers right where you rest your head.

If there's someone with me, then my Mono TV D:

I've got one of those small ISound speakers, so I hook whatever system I'm playing up to it. Incredible sound :)

I jam the cables into my forehead, and the signals travel to my brain, where it's processed as sound.

Just my TV.

I mainly use the TV in my room. It only has one audio jack (It's kinda small). I used to use a splitter for it but that piece of poop got in the way, so I can only plug in one cable at a time. I use the red one (right audio). Yeah, I'm old fashioned and kickass like that.

When people come over, I move it to our big screen though. I still plug it into the TV, but it has a good stereo sound and poop.

Getting all nerdily high tech is ftl guys. I still listen to some of my music on records and cassettes (I didn't buy any lol, they were my dads and I'm not buying more, but hey it's still free music).
