Title: Could you recommend me a good, Non-Dualshock style PS2 controller?
Post by: HUELEN10 on December 31, 2007, 03:13:42 PM
As some of you might know, I bought one of these Logitech PS2 Pads for my Wii.

I heard good reviews on it and it feels great, but for me the sticks are a tad looser than I would like. Do any of you know of PS2 controllers that are not dualshock-styled that have stiffer sticks? Again, I am kinda not experienced with PS2 controllers, but if anyone could help me, that would be great!

You read correctly!

See, I LOVE NiGHTS and wanna play it like the original, with a circular analog system.

I made a new Chuck, but it still didn't feel quite right....

So I made a converter and bought that pad. Now I am looking for better PS2 pads.

Oh, I forgot to add that wired or wireless makes no difference to me, just tighter sticks.

That is what I did as seen in the above picks. It still doesn't cut it for me though.

I personally believe the most people would agree that the DualShock 2 is a good controller. >_>

It is, but it just isn't friends with my hands. They hurt a lot just 5 minutes with the thing, plus I am not a fan of the Stick's Tips......

It apparently gives him cramps. /shrug

would it be possible to buy a port the original Saturn controller? That would be the best CoA.
eBay has them fairly cheap.

They don't make PS2 Saturn Pads for the 3D controller....

NiGHTS can use the Classic Controller, right?

I tried one. It is just a GCN pad, the quality is sub par, and the stick already feels worn.

Some bumps, but I got rid of them. Still doesn't cut it for me....
