I know it may not sound like a big deal, but considering this was only the third time I'd ever gone to practice mode for this song on Expert, it is for me...
Oh, what is it? Just that I did the entire "They're Hammer Ons" section on Slow...
with one hand! ;D
It takes a lot of hard concentration to do, and it took me 5 attempts on Slow, and roughly 10 attempts on Slower to achieve. Soon enough I might be able to get through the beginning on full speed with one hand. :)
Anybody else ever try this?
no.....But I do it on practice mode on full speed alot.

Tapping or one hand?
I've done it before. It's kinda ow on your hands, so I usually tap when practicing and use one hand on full speed, because I can't seem to keep a HO/PO streak going.

I can't stand tapping. I've tried it, and it's darn near impossible for me... I don't know why, but it seems easier for me to just use my index finger on the green and hold it down, then just use quick fingering for the 4 other notes. It's like playing Guitar Hero with 3 usable fingers, and 4 frets kinda. :P
I can do it okay one-handed on slow, but I can't do it up to full speed yet.
Its allways been easier with one hand for me, i'm not fast enough to put my other hand up, and if I hit the strum bar with my elbow I end up messing up.
The beggining is deffinitly the hardest part, i memorized where each note was and can do it with one hand, after taht the song is easy
