Title: Tom Nook store upgrades

When and how do you upgrade the Nook's Cranny? I know to get Nookington's, get a friend to buy something from NookWay.

I time traveled and Tom Nook said he was closing the store for upgrades. I traveled back to the real date and time (January 1, 2008) but it's still the Nook's Cranny and I don't know how to upgrade the store.

Did I mess up the store by messing with the clock?

To upgrade from Nook's Cranny I think you just have to buy or sell products totaling a certain amount of bells.

I never had someone on WiFi buy anything and my shop is being upgraded tomorrow.

Only to get Nooktons (Or whatever it's called, the last upgrade) you need someone (whether it's DS to DS or Wi-Fi) to come and buy something from your town, plus to buy and sell a certion amount to upgrade. Took me forever to upgrade my GC one because I had no friends that had AC. >_<
