I was talking to my mom earlier today, discussing how it totally sucked that I was all dressed and ready to go to school before I knew we had a snow day today. She made the comment "Yeah, but it's not too early to make a snowman!". Normally, I would've gotten all my winter clothes and been out there in the snow as soon as I possibly can. I was thinking, so I didn't really respond. My mom's next comment was "Oh, I forgot, I guess you're a bit too old for that." I didn't know what to say.
Do any of you feel that you're 'too old' to go and play in the snow?
from ns2 one of my friends posted this and since im banned from there ill post it here

In life we go through fazes. From about 15-21 you might feel you are too old to do some of the things you did when you were younger, but after 21 you just start to act silly all over again and soon realize that you don't care what others think.
I'm 26 now and NO I'm not to old to play in the snow LOL. I still have snow ball fights. A few weeks ago my room mate who is 61 BTW and I had a snow ball fight LOL.
i don't really play in the snow any more....i make money in the snow :P
Meh, I've never really played in the snow, I like it but I just don't have the urge to play in it... Hmm
We don't have snow down here :-\
But if we did, I wouldn't waste my time doing something like that.

I DROPPED MEH LIFE ALERT
I can remember back when I was 5 it actually snowed over night. Everything looked so weird being dusted with white stuff. I actually collected enough to make a snowball, but that was about it. I never got to play in the snow so I don't really know how to help you.
well, if you go out with some friends and play in the snow thats fine, but going out by yourself would look kinda silly.
no, but I never do, because it's always either too cold/the snow is too dry to do anything with it.
plus I live quite a ways from most of my friends.
does Snowmobiling count as playing in the snow? :P

On a limited scale.
You are never too old to have fun IMO. When I do get snow around here I usually go out and have fun and I am 22 years old.
You should take advantage of being able to see snow. I've never seen snow and I want to just play in snow just once at least.
you've never seen snow?
Everyone at school thinks I am... 14... :|
I'll never be too old to play in the snow. Besides, most of my friends in my neighborhood are 7-11, so I can have fun with them. All my school friends don't live near my neighborhood.

Where I live, the whole neighborhood is about 2 square miles large. Every other house has kids in it :D

Pretty much every house my neighborhood has kids. Actally, I think I'm the oldest kid in the neighborhood. Well, 14 is more teenager, but I still call myself a kid.
Lolz, if you think your too w/e to do something, then you have low self esteem.

That's a little sad that you think playing in the snow is a waste of time (just my opinion). You might enjoy it more than you think ;) and it's beautiful to look at.
In answer to the original question; No, I don't think you're ever too old to enjoy something as sweet & simple as playing in the snow. If you can't get out in it, it's still fun to watch others playing in it :)
I think it has nothing to do with age, go play with the snow!
I don't like the cold :|
I watch Power Rangers.
I watch Pokémon.
I sleep with my baby blanket.
Age doesn't apply to me.
Sometimes. I'm 14 though, so ya. :)
No...
i am too mature for such childish activities
Never too old to play in the snow...however, I haven't had the "right" kind of snow for building anything in a long time. I live up on a mountain, and we always get either ice, or the kind of snow that's soft and fluffy. The crap that sticks to your skin and "burns" you with coldness. :D Haven't had good packing snow in years.
