I'm not sure if stores still sell normal tvs anymore.
but at that price and size, you wouldn't be able to get a LCD, HD of flat screen.
Maybe a flat tube with the bulky end to it.

tvs that are bulky at the end and aren't super light with LCD and HD capabilities and stuff.

I really wouldnt spend that much on the PS3, chances are I would get a 360 if I had the cash to get either, largely because almost all my friends have one.
