I have just gotten an xbox 360 premium (or pro) and I dont have ethernet or enough money to buy and official wireless adapter for it....
apperently that wireless adapter is the only one that fits in it so is there another way I can connect? I need dem new halo 3 maps!
Use the wired connection that comes with the 360.
Nope...either the ethernet cable needs to connect to your actual computer setup/wireless router...or you need to buy the adapter. why can't you use the ethernet cable that came with the system? Is it too short?

Not even the hard drive? I'm not talking about the whole system. Just pop the hard drive out from the top and bring it to a friend who has a 360 with Live. I mean, a hard drive is expensive...but surely, nothing would be likely to happen to it. It's not fragile or anything. It's meant to come out. It pops off with the press of a button.

Get a longer ethernet cable then. 50 ft ethernet cable at GameStop for 30 dollars.
