Title: So who here liked Echoe's very high difficulty?
Post by: Subach on September 27, 2007, 02:26:05 PM
Topic, to be quite honest, I didn't find the bosses frustrating, but some of the most challenging and entertaining boss encounters in gaming,

Heck, the bosses alone make Echoes worth playing in my opinion.

Meh, it wasnt that difficult.

That is what I thought too, in fact, the difficultly level was near perfect for me, just like Jak 2's.

Although people complained about Jak's difficulty as well, it's funny, what some people think as hard in this day and age of gaming, I find to be a refreshing challenge at worse.

I thought it was pretty hard, but your right, it was just the perfect ammount of difficulty. But the Boost Ball guardian was pretty dang tough. I think I might even like that game more than MP3  :O

I thought it was great!  It took me so many times to kill emperor Ing on Hard Mode that I vowed never to even attempt it again.  A good game should tick you off at some point, IMO.

Well, it never bothered me on normal (except with the boost guardian), but on hard...  Boost Guardian annoyed the heck out of me, and the emperor ing made me use enough ammo I couldn't survive the final Dark Samus battle (as in I ran out of time)...

Its just kinda hard because Dark Aether can drain your energy pretty quick, especially the Dark World boss battles.

echoze wasn't that hard.  the only hard part about it was boosty.  if you play smart, you don't get problems.

Thats true but if you used super crystals and the light suit its incredibly easy (Everything dies really fast)
Title: I couldn't find this at any stores...

I've never seen Metroid Prime Echoes at any of the stores where I live, not even when it was released. And I've never played it, just like the original Metroid Prime. Maybe this game was sold out...

Boost Ball Guardian. Its the Ing that steals your boost ball ability.

That bastard is impossible on Hard.
