Title: Characters that aren't on the Dojo.
Post by: tollhouse2006 on January 03, 2008, 03:11:38 PM
I took notice that not everybody is aware of everything some people know about so here's a list of characters that are in Brawl but not on the Dojo.  If you find any new info make sure you post it here and with a source if possible.
Alot of this stuff can be found at http://www.nintendopedia.org/index.php?title=Super_Smash_Bros._Brawl

Shiek (Article from Gameinformer)
Ganondorf (Article from Gameinformer)
Luigi (Slipped out by accdident by E for All emplyee)
Jigglypuff (Accidently slipped out by Snake's actor at E for All)
Animal Crosser (Mentioned in interview with AC's director)

Also Krystal's actress is in the voice cast so Krystal is a very possible player not to mention one of the highly requested.

ATs we found out about

Rosalina
Metroid
Mach Rider
Duels Strike
Duster
Tails (Not sure if this is true)
Knuckles (Not sure if this is true)
Jill

Also Mr. Game & Watch is likely to return to not only finish the icon pattern mentioned on the old nsider but also in memory of his creator (forgot his name) who died in a car accident around before Melee was around.  Sakurai wouldn't leave G&W out.

Captain Falcon is rumored to have not appeared on the Dojo yet because a new F-Zero RPG is in development and the Captain has a new look.

Hmm... take Midna off there please. Gamepro doens't know anything more than we do.

Too bad that F-Zero RPG got delayed, it was supposed to come out by the end of 2007. I guess we will have to wait even longer for his update now. :'(

I bet people are still going to import it even though it's less that a month after the Japanese release.

I just added the source.  Since the F-Zero thing is delayed they are likely to update Falcon anytime now.

If you can get me vids for the slips at e4all, then I'll belive those. But other than that, it is kinda hard to absolutly prove anything 100% over the internet...

Sorry, that music was done by a different person.  The Donkey Kong update mention G&W's name and I got mixed up.

Well, if that's your way of believing in things you aren't going to get much proof that's not written.  I dought someone would record what they said at the E for All.  They said those things on accident not on purpose.

FOr game and watch I think you mean Gunpei Yokoi (I probably butchered the spelling), but he's Miyamoto's mentor and made gameboy and Metroid.

As far as all the characters, none of them are big stretches...except for Snake's VA...
I don't see how he'd know anything much about the game itself other than things involving snake and possibly SOME SSE info if Snake has any story at all....

Thats why I stopped subscribing to them. It's just a big ad. Best game magazine = EGM (Game Informer is okay, even though they're insanely biased AGAINST Nintendo despite Billy Berghemmer (butchered spelling again) is on staff there)

I do not think Gameinformer is reliable. The only one I see that may be reliable is Snake's voice actor because he is on the inside.

THey're fairly reliable, but biased...which is the problem. I believe EGM tho....except during April...

I heard Sakurai got angry with that character designer so that article must be true.
