I use to play about a year ago and quite giving my friend 75 mil meso. But I just heard they are making a new class and I'm thinking about starting up again. I still have some of my old accounts so I'll probably play on them for a bit. Just wondering if anyone here plays?

I had heard about that long ago. My friend, who brought me into Maple Story, he knew this website that showed future things in Maple Story. This was listed down there. They also had that name change and server transfer thing on the list too, and those already happened, so its very likely that there will be a pirate class with guns.

Oh well, I quit about 9 months ago after all my friends left me. Now I realize just how terrible the game really is. Not really hard to tell what I was though.

Not really. Guns eliminate the need for swords and other melee weapons because they are just as powerful up close as they are far away. With bows you aren't as powerful upclose, so it keeps things balanced. At least with Ragnarök it was kept balanced with slow reload times. Just remember, guns will always be better than swords, no if and or but about it.

I think it would really depend on how they set it up. Maplestory has been really good at keeping every class balanced.
I play occasionally, but not a lot.
used to play, boribori still does... (and I can't ever talk to her, resultingly :P) she's muffinstory on scania IIRC. if you ever see her on, tell her I said hi :P

there are hardly any high-level warriors because they're such a trouble to raise. it's so boring to raise a warrior.
I quit at level 52 because there were no more party quests for me to do, and so it got really boring. I had an ice/light mage (ice first).

Used to play it maybe a year ago. Decent times. I remember some guy was making a whole ton of tough monsters apper (After that 1st island, in that town you come to. Maybe I'm wrong, haven't played it in a long time) and all us Newbies were dying like crazy. I'm not sure how that guy did it. Hacks?

yeah, hacks. I was going to start hacking the game, but then i was like "that's a frickin waste of life.".
I've slowed down a bit as it doesn't run as well on Vista as it does on XP D:
It's fun, just bothersome to level up.
AND THAT GOD DAMN NEW CASH SHOP THING THAT HAS A LITTLE POP-UP MESSAGE IN THE TOP RIGHT OF THE SCREEN IS FUCKING ANNOYING.
Got an assassin to 51 and quit due to having to grind at zombies.

Yes there is a new job class coming. I know 4th job is coming too, but they have already announced that a new class will be coming out and they even showed some of the clothing and skills.
