So I borrowed my friend's iPod with some music on it that I like and I can't figure out how to get said music onto this actual computer.
halp
I don't believe you can, i've tried, but couldn't figure it out.
My friend has the same problem, along with how to delete songs, I guess this proves the Zune software is better :o.

That's like, really basic.
This is how:
Go to the iPod (not itunes) menu of what music is on there.
Right Click a song, then click Delete.
Make your computer able to veiw hidden files

Red Ring of Death. And also, I've had multiple apple products, not one of them defective or have broken. Including 2 iPods which are still in mint condition.
Ok so now my friend's iPod is basically frozen, the thing won't turn on, won't register on my USB ports, and that Apple logo keeps flashing on and off over and over again.

Hold Menu and the center button for 8 seconds and try again.
REMEMBER:
Don't take the iPod out off the USB charger until you eject it
Don't plug the USB connector into the keyboard
The iPod may be a bit glitchy if it's OS X Leopard or Windows.

Ok, did that.

Toggle the Hold switch (set it to Hold, and then turn it off again). Press the Menu and Center buttons at the same time for about 6 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
