Steelers fans are from all walks of life =P
Let me read the forum description again...
"encompassing alot of subjects"
HMMMMMM
I was routing for the Jags. It was a really good game, especially in the second half. But Rothlesburger(How the hell do you spell it?) probably had one of the worst game of his career. I think that the Jags could go all the way. :)

We're mean and inconsiderate because he's making a big deal outta nothing. If his dog died, I'd by sypathetic, but whining about a FOOTBALL GAME?
Maybe to him it feels that way. Did you stop and think about that?

Is anyone watching the Bucs vs, Giants game today? It should be a good game. I think that the Giants will come away with the win, but I want the Bucs to win.

I'll probably watch some of it.
I lol'd so hard when i woke up, turned on the tv, and then saw Steelers lost. Eitherway, my prediction is Packers v.s the Patriots in the super bowl :-X

Jaguires are gonna be hard to beat, im banking on them beating the patriots.
Giants almost did it and the Jaguires are much better at putting pressure on the pocket and Fred Taylor should have a good game, seeing as his insane game against the 3rd ranked rushing defense team wasnt a fluke (sadly).

nobody's going to beat the pats
and if the pats are beaten, their whole 14-0 (or whatever it is) season means absolutely nothing, because they failed to produce in the playoffs.

For such a great team, they have had their fair share of close calls.
Can anybody say Ravens and Giants?
Ravens really should have beat them, Pats get so many lucky calls.
Def gonna be Pats vs Cowboys in the super bowl. No doubt in my mind.

My Superbowl pick = Jaguars vs. Seahawks
Oh and look out for the Eagles next year; if they stay healthy they should be able to dominate.

Well lets see they almost lost 2 gamexs and won those by luck and bad calls, Tom Brady cant handle pressure in the pocket for crap, the halfback sucks and gets too much praise, and they rely on 1 receiver to do all the heavy lifting (Randy Moss).
They are a good team, and Tom Brady has an amazing arm, but they arent the "omfg best team evr!!!"
I will say this though, they have a pretty nice defensive line.

While Tom Brady may break down with pressure, and Maroney isn't that great, I have to say that "they rely on 1 receiver to do all the heavy lifting (Randy Moss)." Is not at all true. Have you ever even seen any of there games? Have you heard of someone named Wes Welker? They in no way "rely" on Moss.

Fine ill give you that, but all i hear from the announcers is "olol brady + moss = luv4life" :D
Patriots, although great, are not the "greatest team ever" like so many say. Running game is suspect, and although their defense is good, it too can be suspect. They're not the '85 Bears, or the '89 49ners. They won't be the single most feared team ever (since they made Baltimore look like a decent team), and as far as I know, a guy named Peyton Manning has just as much fire power to keep up with Brady.
HOWEVER, if they Pats get past the Colts, they basically won the super bowl. Peyton is still the only guy who has anyy chance to beat Brady.
Jacksonville...won't win against them. Sure they can run but Garrard hasn't made the big drive/big pass that tells me he can pull off those types of games like Brady, Farve, and Manning have. Sure he only had three (four?) interceptions the entire year, but compared to how many TD's did he throw? No where near as many as guys like Brady, Rothlesberger, or Manning.

Rothlesberger was better than i expected this year, although its helps that he can runa dn take a sack better than most quarterbacks in the league

They're still not the "liek bahst teem eva!11!" like every announcer says. "85 Bears defense would kill Brady because he can be hit in the pocket consistantly (if you have a decent enough pass rush, which like hell the bears did) and they don't have a good enough run game to force that many guys in the box...

Shouldnt a "great" team like the pats have more than 2 contributers?
You never hear about Bruski anymore, or Welker who did have a good game against the Steelers although hes not as good as moss.
Whatever, the playoffs wil tell us...
I'm hoping to see the Packers win the super bowl this year. For Favre.
