Excluding the red gyrados in silver/gold/crystal, what was yours?
I got mine (a red donphan) in my silver version. I later also got a gold beedrill (yes it is gold, go figure)
A Shiny Wingull in Sapphire, several years ago. I try not to think about it.
I think a shiny magicarp in Silver....
then I evolved it, and I have 2 red garydoses. Does that count?
Shiny Stantler that I got in Crystal.
A bronze Graveler in Mt. Silver that exploded on itself. The first shiny I actually GOT was a green-eared cleffa from the Mysterious Egg in Crystal.

Then it's another shiny graveler, which I was able to catch. :P
Green Marill in Ruby.
Aqua Treecko in a Ruby ROM. I thought the ROM made him look aqua and he sparkled because he was my starter. ????
First off- Diamond/Pearl is my first pokemon game I've completed.
When I learned that you can actually HUNT for shinies I learned how to do it and I DID it. For DAYS. More than a week possibly? I FINALLY found a cute little shiney girl pachirisu and named her Ninjane (ninja squirrels FTW!!!)
Later on while trying to breed for an awesome Aerodactyl I happened across a shiny one. Hatched shiny- TOTALLY surprised me.
Same thing with the Aerodactyl happened with an eevee breeding project. I hatched a shiny eevee last week!

Three shinies, two of them hatched...
I've only found 2 in the advanced gens, on my own...
Of course, they're some of the most common pokes- Zubat and Geodude... >:(
I have also found a shiny wailmer in Ruby, and many other in Diamond. I got a couple thru trade, though the mew, celebi, and dialga (which has maxed out contest stats) are fake.

My first was a red Abra in Silver. My second was from an egg at a nintendo event! It hatched into a red chikorita!!!

First one seen-the first Pelipper I ever saw was pink. I only caught males back then so I ran away. Then I found out they were blue. >:(
First caught-Red Meditite I'm not gonna evolve ever.
The GTS in Diamond and Pearl made it easier for me to get shiny Pokemon. My first one off of it was a Pelipper. The only time I've run into a shiny in my game was while I was in the Safari Zone and I came across a shiny Wooper. Of course it ran away.
Shiny Typhlosion in Crystal.
A Shiny Oddish on Ruby and I got it about three years ago...
The first one that I've caught was a machop in Diamond, I think. That's the only one that I remember ever catching anyway. And I've been with pokemon since red and blue came out. :(
