I'm thinking Lylat Cruise or an F-Zero stage.

but it could also be a level music in Subspace.
F-Zero stage, definatley. Fast paced and techno... Also comes from a fast paced game, too.
For the Pokemon Stadium! Or New Pork City.
It would be hard to tell where the song would be played. The game X was a vehicular combat game for the gameboy. Also, it was from the same people who made the first StarFox (Agronaut or something along those lines.) It was actually pretty advanced for it's time though....Anyway, I have no idea what stage it would be played in.
