I've got shoe polish on my hands and feet. I didn't apply it myself so I don't know the brand or how to remove it.
Anyone know how to remove shoe polish easily? It's already gotten on the floor and I don't want anymore spreading

Water doesn't work. It just spreads it around.

Spread it around until it evens out everywhere.
mineral spirits might work.
Dip your hands in lava, I think the shoe polish will melt away or something.
force the dirty area into your monitor, it should work.

That's how you get it out of the carpet and yourself I do believe. :robotwink:
Sheesh! You people!! lol
Ok, try washing your hands in either dish soap (like Dawn or something) or, laundry soap & hot water - hot as you can stand, but ya know, don't scald yourself. Then If there's anything still on your hands, break out the nailpolish remover (preferably the kind WITH acetone in it) and afterwards, wash your hands again. This will dry your hands out really bad, so if you aren't afraid of it ( :P ) use some lotion on your hands when you're all done.
Lick it off.
EDIT: Gah, beaten to it D:.

Besides me, right? I'm virtually innocent.
You could always give acetone a try if all else fails.
