Title: SSBB online training thread!
Post by: Red on January 10, 2008, 07:08:36 PM
This is a thread that is intended for teaching other people on these boards advanced techniques such as "L-canceling" via online play. Just ask for the technique you wish to learn and I'll put you in the "Tutor needed" section; likewise if you want to teach a technique, ask and I'll put you in a "Student needed." Then you can teach/learn a technique so we can fight better against other boards.

Tutor needed:
Skye8600-  l-canceling, wavdashing, shffling.
Sword21-  Shffling.
GrimTuesday-  Yoyo glitch with Ness.
Triforceman22-  Bomb cancel with Link, Bomb jump with Link.
Triforce_Luigi-  Short hopping, l canceling, teching, and the application of above techniques.
Zora Link-  Pretty much with everything.

Student needed:
Nintendude92-  Short hopping, edge-hogging and L-cancel.
Thunderhero4-  Caption Falcon juggling.

Pull out bomb, wait for like 2 seconds, then jump and use his recovery.
The bomb will explode, letting you do another recovery.

Half of that stuff isn't returning. However, I can assist with short hopping, edge-hogging and L-cancel once I learn the new timing.

Im pretty sure it is in PAL, dont qoute me on that.

Do you know how to start it?

This is what I know - Perform a Smash Up and hold it very briefly before releasing, make sure it hits something while charging but not when swinging upwards, after that you can perform Jackets by doing different things... But it didn't work when I tried it  :'(

The speed being modded is the reason they said it was easier. ;)
