The battle where you first face him was epic, even though I kept on crashing into the walls. :D. Nevertheless, he looked like he would be an awesome character, especially with the plasma beams that shoot out from his mouth.

Big to small isn't the same as small to big. But I agree, it's certainly POSSIBLE.
I loved the MetaRidley fight in Prime 1. Ridley is probably the ONLY real choice for another Metroid character...
Every series needs an iconic baddie...and for Metroid it's Ridley.
