Title: Is Sakurai taking too much from Kirby Air Ride?
Post by: Lotos on January 14, 2008, 05:41:18 PM
First off, I'm well aware he created both games.  I want to edit this in before another person says it.

Look at today's update and the main menu.  Anyone who has played Air Ride should notice it right away.

I am greatful for this challenge thing.  It may look like Air Ride, but it will not show how many golden hammers you used.

For one he created the game and for two, it's cool. ;D

Kirby Air Ride was very underrated.

I personally enjoy all the stuff being taken from Air Ride.

1. I'm well aware.  It seems since it was underrated, he took recycled stuff from the game.
2. I wish the menu was different, but it will grow on me, like the name Wii, putting the wiimote into the GH3 guitar, and friend codes.

1. Yes, as soon as I saw the names update I saw that it was styled like kirby airride...
2. Its a good idea...I mean, kirby airride was waaaay underrated and I enjoyed it for as long as melee! :O
3. I hope he does more! A city trial stage! A mode like city trial, idk! Graphics were the only thing I saw bad about it...but graphics dont make a game...

Never played Air Ride, but if you noticed, Melee and Kirby Superstar (SNES) share some interesting similarities as well. ;)
