I dont, i do think we are having a warm period of weather, and besides if were so low on oil the shouldn't we run out of it before we destroy the ozone and die???
Yes. Now if the majority of humans would stop being so intercourse ing lazy and get off their fat asses maybe the continuous heating of the Earth would stop?
were is the "yes, and its impertant to us" choice, and we are running out of oil

Of course global warming is real. I figured almost everybody with common sense accepted this fact already.
It's real, people need to do something, but they care about themselves and their need more than they care about the environment.
Yes but we are going throught a warm period the ozone lair just won't get destroyed, but it will get a lot hotter and the glaciers will melt is a 100% sure. Thought we could just been over exagerating it and just need to face the fact nothing is going to happened and we will find a way to survive this.
What the intercourse is this? Do you "believe" in global warming? That's not even a question. That's like saying, do you believe that Croatia exists? Well, there appears to be overwhelming evidence proving its existence, however it does not seem to directly affect me right here and now therefore I am going to say that it does not exist. 8) LOL I'M A CONSERVATIVE MORON, THE DEMOCRATS INVENTED GLOBAL WARMING, MOAR MONEYS FOR MY BUSINESS BUT PLEASE DON'T TAX ME
In all seriousness, I don't see how you can't admit that global warming is a real and tangible thing. Yes, studious young man, the Earth's surface temperature does indeed fluctuate in quite a regular pattern. You are correct. However, if you observe a graph of such changes, the spike is about two or three times as high as it should be right now. And if you assign years to this graph, you discover that the exponential increase began around the early 1800's.
Now, what happened in the early 1800's?
Come on, junior high history.
Wait for it.
Wait for it.
Industrialization, correct! For the especially retarded among us, industrialization = carbon emissions. Carbon is a greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gasses trap surface heat on the surface.
Now, why doesn't anyone do something about it? Because corporate pigs own our country and our lives. That's the simple answer. Bloated governments are given the equivalent of 20,000 nickel blowjobs to do things like perpetuate wars for oil (HUH WHAT IRAQ) that benefit oil and auto industries. At the same time some people here and there are given the equivalent of oh, 5,000 nickel blowjobs to put out the "um lol global warming is fake!!!" news, and "lol patriotism I luv america!!!" kicks in from there.
It's a winning system when you're the corporate pig gaining from it all. Fuck the planet a century from now, some CEO is getting a new car and another villa in Hawaii. Awesome, right?
This video change my mind on global warming.

why would you believe something with no prof in front of you
no too long ago they thought we were going to go through another ice age, they probably thought that because they were having colder than usual weather, as far as i know "they" didnt say it was because of the ozone until people started to question "them". And the lack of an ozone would leave the side of the earth in the night unusually cold because there would be nothing insulating the heat, and when they say something like well the earth has been getting warmer and warmer for the past few years, first of all they are probably using the hottest days of the year, and they havn't been recording the temperature long enough to make such a conclusion...
i personally think the people that think its global warming are crack heads(exaggeration there)
no, it's just stupid and all this hype from the media ruin it.

I don't think it does (why I posted the link) but that doesn't mean we shouldn't stop going green.

the way he narrows it down he shows we need to go with action even thought it does not happen. Both ways we are alive and sure to survive.

Any scientists that deny that the Earth is heating up are pseudo-scientists. It's been proven the earth has heated up more in the last 200 years than any other time in recorded history.

yeah but no were near as much as the politicians do
Sense no one will watch the video I will write the out comes of what will happen if we take action or don't.
1.We took action but nothing happened we spended a bunch of tax money for nothing we go into a depreasion.
2.We did take action and it did happened so it was money well spend because we survived.
Now if global warming does not happen.
3. It never happened it never will everyone is happy.
4.Global warming does happen but we took no action so where basicly much intercourse ed.(Go into a the end of world because of all the new problems that will lead after this one)
Remember all those taxes that where going to have to pay if we take action and nothing ever happened will stop sooner or later. Life is going to hard for most but its better then dying or going to a even bigger global depreasion if it did happen and we took no action. So what do you choose I take choice 1 just to be sure.

Unfortunently people are under the mind that if a scientist says it, it must be true.
No research done to prove them wrong because too many people take them on their word instead of looking at it themselves.
P.S. Cows give off more methane than every human on this planet, and yet we aren't doing anything about that.

Say hi to global warming.
This thread is locked because none of you know what you're talking about or seem to have the ability to cite anything except stupid videos to backup your opinions. If you want some proof, here's the graph of surface temperature I was talking about in my post:
Edit: Totla knows what he's talking about, but that's why he's a mod. :)
I love how people throw graphs in others' faces and expect them to take it as truth. Graphs suggest trends; they do not indefinitely prove that something is or is not occurring. They're also very easily misinterpreted.
Such as the fact that the pretty exponential line in the far right of Totla's first graph is a model.
Or the fact that 1000 years is not nearly large enough of a margin to gauge global temperatures.
Or the fact that every temperature before, say 1850, is a projection.
But hey, I could be wrong. That's what serious discussion is for.
