WAVEDASH

BACKGROUND INFO
Game: Super Smash Bros. Melee
System: GCN
Year: 2001
When the tournament ruleset allowed items, aerial item catches during an air dodge were safer than grounded item catches. Wavedashing was accidentally discovered when Toadbanjoconker, a Smashboards veteran, attempted such a catch. Henceforth, wavedashing began to enter smashers' repertoires. Ironically, it didn't become necessary for top level competition until months later.

INCLUSION IN BRAWL
Wavedash is probably the most important Super Smash Bros. Character. Seriously, name 1 Pro who doesn't use it.

COMMON ARGUMENTS
How can you have common arguments for an uncommon character?

Wavedash in Brawl
Wavedash would be able to attack while moving backwards and have very little lag with his attacks.

B
-Chain Grab-
Wavedash grabs the nearest opponent and throws them into the air, dependin on the character Wavedash will do different throws in order to keep them stuck in the Chain of Grabs.

B >
-Edge Hog-
Wavedash races as fast as possible to wherever an opponent is trying to recover and stops them in any way possible.

B V
-Spike-
Wavedash knocks the opponent downwards, this move spikes the opponent.

B ^
-Short Hop-
This allows Wavedash to do a short jump, this jump can be used as many times as the user wants in the air.

Final Smash
-Infinite Combo-
Wavedash targets the closest player and puts them into an infinite lock, after the targeted player is at 999% damage the Final Smash stops, Wavedash is invincible while performing this attack.

Broken much? :P

i been trying out the wave dashing but it think it interferes with my playing style. I might use it when it comes to playing as Sheik but when I used it as G&W it really just throws me off.

Kinda like me with Mario, but you have to force it in to make it part of your gameplay.

If you can no-jump wavedash it does help Game and Watch.

pro luigis wave for two reasons
1.his wavedash is quite long
2.he isnt that fast thats why captain flacon players dont wavedash he is faster at running than his wavedash
