Today when I went to target I saw a sale on Assasin Creeds, its only $38, so I thought maybe buying one and returning it in a week once the sale is off and get $60 back or will I just be rejected and be force to sell on ebay for almost original price?

It will more than likely be marked as on sale when you buy it, so you'll get what you paid for it back.

...your receipt will say how much you paid for it. You wouldn't get back more than you paid, considering they'll be able to see how much you paid.
