I hope this is the right forums to post this. I always wanted to know what Nsiders would say...
Me? Mac.
I don't care as long as I can run the programs I need.
I'm on a MacBook, its good for what I need it for
...I have a PC so......PC...
I've never used a mac sooooo, PC.

i think your sig needz more lens flare
Windows != PC. Get it right.
I use Fedora and Windows XP.
well i haven't used a mac before :-\
but i hear that their better....
so i don't know what to vote for untill i try out a mac.
Mac may be better but I use PC. I hate the touchpads on Macs (intercourse ing annoying to use), the keys are too spread out too. Using a window is so intercourse ing complicated with Mac. One button for a mouse is FTL.
And I also hate the whole "I use a Mac, I'm so advanced and modern!" bandwagon.

You're a moron. The keys being spread out don't feel any differently, and they've had two button mice since around 2004. And the touchpads you'd find on a Macbook is no different from the one on a Dell or HP.
I use Windows XP for the time being.
Maybe I'll get Vista when I feel like it.

I would dual-boot, obviously. Oh, and I happen to think Vista isn't bad. The only unsatisfactory things I find about it are the lack of supported hardware/software, and that I constantly get warnings about "do you want to do this hey hey listen hey".
And, yes, I have used Vista before, my dad's laptop has it.

well my brother has had;
Random shutdowns
BSOD (like 5 times now)
Errors that says has a update to fix it but then says that the system is all ready upto date
and a failed HDD

My friend has a Macbook that I've used. The keys spread out do make a difference. I don't look at the keyboard when I type, my hands are used to a normal keyboard. But it's different on a Mac. The keys are too spread out for me and when I type on one I make mistakes. The mouse clicks, I know. But on a touchpad it's one button and gets confusing... I think you gotta hold a key for right click. Then the touchpad, it's just different... the two fingers scrolling thing can also be a ninny.
I don't give a poop about these OS wars. Both of them suck, really.

I don't look at they keyboard either, but I've never had problems typing on those types of keyboards. To each his own, I guess.
How does moving your finger on a small pad get confusing? You don't need to use two fingers.
I'm a PC gamer, so I have to say windows XP.
A Mac is a PC. PC= Personal Computer. Also, how the hell can there be an "other"? There is no other.

GNU/Linux, Nexentia, Solaris, *BSD, SkyOS...
An other could be a PS3 with Fedora?
Where's the "Both" option?

Those are all still run on PCs. Besides the Ps3 though, I don't think that counts. And maybe if you were running off a server computer, but I don't think that's going to happen.
All I'm saying is this is an OS debate not a computer debate. Mac's are still computers, still Personal Computers.
I don't like Mac systems, too expensive.
I like Windows best because it can run all the programs I want to use and it's completely stable. (despite what people say about constant errors, crashes, BSoD, etc.)
I like Linux second best, and of what I've tried, Ubuntu. Both typically run on the type of computer usually considered a "PC", unless you use bootcamp...

You're forgetting the whole thing about Microsoft having the ability to remove any programs they feel like, how they have the ability to deactivate your computer anytime, and a poopload of other things I'm too lazy to list so I'll just link to BadVista (http://badvista.fsf.org/what-s-wrong-with-microsoft-windows-vista)

PC, except for Vista.
PCs are just much more reliable and more customizable, hardware-wise.
Plus...can anyone even GAME on a Mac? :D

Yes. There are Mac versions for many games, and there's always Boot Camp.

But the small drive sizes and low processor power bogs games down.

Low CPU? What are you smoking? Unless you're talking about the Mac Mini or Macbook Air, they have good CPU's. I've got a computer roughly the same as the baseline 24 inch iMac (although I have 2GB of RAM and a better video card), and I can run Bioshock on near-max (I say near-max because XP has no DX10, but if I had Vista, it'd be max) and Crysis fairly smoothly. The iMac, Macbook Pro, and Mac Pro are all decent machines, so I don't see where you're getting this.
I perfer OS X.
I like widnows better, about the same amount of programs but i think mac just is a lamer OS than windows

Please don't talk about computers when you clearly know nothing about them.
1)Small Hard drive space wouldn't bog down a game. The RPM of the platter could slow it down, and Macs have no problem with that.
2)Macs don't have small harddrives.
3)Considering that--as Hiei said, other than the Air and the Mini--Macs are standard with a 2.0+ GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, and the pro can hold 2 quad cores your statement is complete bullpoop.

16, wow. Because age means everything, obviously. And just so you know, just because you're 100% computer retarded doesn't mean that anyone with the simplest bit of knowledge knows what they're doing.
