Okay, I just signed up for live, and now its asking me to pick my membership choice. Lets say I choose redeem from prepaid card. Will I get the opportnuty to upgrade to Gold? Also, if I choose Silver, will I get to upgrade to Gold? I could choose Gold, but my parents are paranoid about putting their credit card info into my 360. Can someone post a link to ensure that its totally safe? Also, can I play multiplayer with Silver? Another question I have is that if I choose a prepaid card, will I get most of the benifets (downloads, maps, updates, etc.) that Gold gives you? Can someone please help me? Like if I do FREE XBOX live from BK for 48 hours, can I upgrade to Gold later on?
Prepaid cards are Gold.
And Silver is everything but multiplayer online IIRC.
So once my prepaid card runs out, can I do a normal Gold subscription?

Uh, yes. If say your prepaid card is two months, after that you can choose to either buy another card or put your credit card on the 360 and get whatever amount of time you want.
