Title: Name some fantastic 2008 Wii games...
Post by: Riosan on January 19, 2008, 07:40:16 AM
Whose names don't consist of "Super", "Smash", "Bros.", or "Brawl".

I'm going to start by saying de Blob.

I'm looking forward to Mario Kart, Animal Crossing (believe), Samba de Amigo, Okami, Endless Ocean, Dragon Quest Swords, Rygar, Civilization Revolution, Wii Fit, Wii Music, Worms, and Boom Blox.  And maybe Target Terror as well.  Hopefully we will get We Love Golf localized this year.  I'm kinda sad that I won't be able to afford all of them though, since I have DS games to get too. :'(

SSBB was supposed to be a 2007 game.  It probably would have won game of the year.

Mario Kart for the Wii will be good.

Of course I'll buy it, and it will be good, but it will be a flop on other expectations D:, plus, they are pulling some Dollar on a fishing line trick with these delays here :/.

Music rhythm game... I guess it's kinda like Rock Band except everything is controlled with the Wii Remote(s) and you have an orchestra instead of a rock band.

The most likely way is that you go to a plaza seperate from your town and invite people back to yours to clear dungeons and do PvP matches.

But there would be an offline mode.

And also, Animal Crossing + MMO? Just stop. If Nintendo made a MMO disaster would break out.

Enough proof for ya?

That's not proof. That's published media spreading rumors.

Just think of this logically:

Nintendo: Doesn't have the guts to let people add friends without 15-digit codes

Animal Crossing: A game that revolves out of having a virtual life. Maybe having a few friends over every once in a while.

MMO: A community that would always have to have something to do and have classes, fighting, and online chat.

These three things mix together like Panda Express and Jamba Juice. And that doesn't mix well AT
ALL.
