Title: NOA can assemble a staff for Tech Support...
Post by: Tsu on January 20, 2008, 05:03:01 PM
...but they can't put together a small staff for at least a smaller NSider?

I really, really hate NOA.

Or they could hire complete strangers.  :O

But yeah, you'd think they'd be able to get staff for Techsider.

Hey, it costs money to run a forum.

Nintendo has a lot, though...

Nintendo has billions. They can afford a few hundred a year to run a small forum.

Try 1500*12 for Lithium

Then paying their staff

So around...

Crap

Hold on

I'd say around 51600 a year.

4300 a month

Nintendo is a business.  They aren't going to spend money on something that provides them no benefit.
The forums provides little benefit to Nintendo in comparison to the cost of it to them.

You wouldn't need a gigantic staff to moderate 2 boards. Screw Lithium. I can't believe NOA let themselves get ripped off by them for so long.

Forums, btw.

Try around, what was it, 25?

Yeah.

25 boards in Nsider.

You'd still need all the admins.

And Lithium is WORTH the 1500 a month.

You're clueless.

If you don't understand the way something works, you stay out of it.

I agree that Noa are idiots but for different reasons. A month delay for us because of translation that they want to be lazy with.

Maybe the staff for TechSupport is the same people that you can call when you have a problem with your systems.  Same people just they have a new job now.

It pisses me off how they shut one down and make another one.  They could have just shut it down temporarily :'(

But why waste that money on something that provides them no profit in return?

If you think about it, it does. I would never of went out and bought a wii if it woudent be for Nsider or buy anything els that nintendo came up with after 2006....It gave them money and now they still spend 1,500 a month for the techsider thing so there is no difference.
