Nintendo gives you a free warrenty, 90 days. If thats gone I would get the charge station.
I'm using rechargeable batteries & it's working out pretty good :)

For a charge station I got Charging Dock it's made by Madcatz they also gice you a 1 year warrenty on everything(Wii, controls, etc.). There's one problem with it though it can only charge one remote and you only get on charge pack. :(
I got the charging station...
Its kind of a pain in the ass since your wii remotes wont fit with the wrist strap on and you have to take off the jacket for each charge...

Right now I have Energizers. I have two remotes & 8 rechargeable batteries, so when I see they are getting low - almost bottomed out, then I put the 4 that I took out on the charger. If you charge them & then put them aside for too long, they can lose their charge.

I have 3 wiimotes.....so 8 batteries should work.
It's annoying if you keep wrist straps on the Wiimote. Otherwise, it's great.
Also, it's Nyko. No C.
I have one and it works great for me, but to bad it only comes with rechargable batteries for 2 remotes.

No, it's the grip things on the remote, at least on mine, if you just have the strip it would hurt it at all. :)
I just got a Nyko Charge Station, and I like it. I think it drains faster then regular batteries, but if you keep your Wii Remote on the charger while not playing, it would be a problem. The only thing I don't like is that it only comes with 2 chargers, so if you have more than 2 Wii Remotes, you'll have to put regular batteries in the other 2.

No, not really.
The way it works is that there is a metal thing sticking out of the battery pack. The included battery cover has a hole for that (it's flat and on level with the battery cover so it doesn't get in the way when holding remote). The charger station requires that the metal thing touches the charge stand's metal thing, but with the shape of the stand, it's hard to position it right when a wrist strap is on. It's possible, but hard.
i got a charge station, they dont last very long, but if you put them on the charger when your done playing, it works out.
I have a Nyko Charge Station, and it's great. The only parts that are somewhat annoying is taking wiimote jackets off so they can charge, and how long it takes to charge fully. It's best to always put the wiimote back when your not playing, and alternate between two of them if the other REALLY needs to charge, though it's battery life is very long. All in all...nevermind just get it. ;)
you dont have take the wrist strap off its just easier i have one and i love it. I sit down, play some when im done set it back down on the charg station. i fell its more of a convinience
