I mean jesus there is no reason for the crappiness of this game. It's a intercourse ing 360 game and it is so awful.
Loading screens EVERYWHERE! 15 second loading screens for every little thing. I had a loading screen one time for a guy to say "Wow" than it went to another loading screen. It is so uneccessary.
Also, so many times have I fallen through the ground when I'm running. Just out of nowhere. I fall through the floor and die. Horrible controls don't help this either.
I mean is this on purpose? Because all of this could be avoided so easily. Especially for Sega.
Somewhere in that giant franchise...they divided by zero.
I haven't a clue. I'm the biggest Sonic supporter and even I can't defend this pile of garbage. You know it's bad when SHADOW has to save any continuity and playability for the game....it's just pathetic. Oh, and Sega, mapping the bounce bracelet and light dash to the same buttong = dumbest idea ever.

Honestly I am :'(
Same. At least the Adventure games were PLAYABLE....not great but at playable. This game is unplayable. About the only time you control Sonic is just forward with no speed. Seriosuly, the second he gets any speed at all it's impossible to turn, and every homing attack he just floats there.
This is why I haven't played ANY sonic games after sonic 3, excluding Sonic rush, which was an INCREDIBLY awesome game! :)
Played like the old, and the bonus stages are HARD, but not as hard as they were back in Sonic 2.
Sonic Team just doesn't care anymore.

I loved Adventure 2. I had so much gameplay time on that.

They should sell the Sonic license to someone good...
I'm thinking of buying a Genesis+SEGA CD just for Sonic CD and a few other games.

I know, you actually wanted to see how darn fast you could get through the Sonic and Shadow levels. Oddly enough it's a game from that long ago on Dreamcast where Sonic is his fastest in 3D. How does a game on the PS3/360 have the slowest Sonic ever besides the crappy ass Saturn games?

Sonic and the Secret Rings was even slower...
I shouldn't have to level up to make Sonic run fast. :|

I liked Secret Rings, although the level up was dumb, the custom ring was great IMO.
Trust me, once you get him fast it is INSANELY fast. Almost as fast as Sonic at max in SA2, but almost. Problem is you have no reaction time at points...
also all these new characters are pointless, they just spent about 3 seconds to come up wth a name
It seems that they do it in purpose now.
It is going downhill, but not as much as DK.
