Title: I'm an average NSider moron who has no clue what hacking is.
Post by: Spud on January 23, 2008, 01:17:17 PM
I was logging into the school network at school today and usually before the desktop pops up, a window appears basically saying "do you agree to the terms and service" and you click yes to proceed to the desktop, but today that didn't pop up until the desktop already loaded. Everyone around me was having a wtf moment as I saw I had teacher controls on the network.

...Why?

Explain to me how clicking yes to "Do you agree to the terms and service" qualifies as hacking in any way.

That's like saying that you hotwired a car because somebody left the door open with the keys inside.

I managed to fix a Mac OS X software glitch to get international characters on my MacBook. And when I make web pages, I hand-code them.
