Title: So on my Italian midterm...
Post by: Lotos on January 23, 2008, 01:35:30 PM
We had to read an ad in Italian and answer this question in Italian about the ad.  It was an ad for a Phillips security system.

Yes, that Phillips.

At this point, I got concerned.  They make TVs, Razors, a poopty VG system, AND security systems?  If it's as bad as the CD-i, those guy's are getting burglarized.  The sign alone "Warning: Protected by Phillips Security System" is basically a welcome sign for burglars.

So? Apple made the "Pippin" system, which failed completely, but they're still pretty awesome.

Philips isn't a bad company. The CD-i wasn't even necessarily a bad system. Nobody took advantage of its capabilities correctly though.

I made a thread about those signs a while back that say you have that security system and how dumb it is.
