If you look at the interview volume 3. Sakurai said that he didn't put stages in like that. He said they were the most dificult stages in Melee. Discuss.
I loved Pokefloats, but i always hated big blue.
i guess it's a good tradeoff to never have to fight on big blue again.

I may not have worded it well on that post but if you go and read the interview third volume Sakurai gives you a hint that those stages aren't in. Rainbow Cruise was a miracle to get in. I wish it didn't return though.

I loved activating Pokemon on those stages. Seeing Pokemon carry off other Pokemon off the screen in Poke Floats and ones that remain in the air on the Big Blue stage just flew off the left side of the screen! xD
Those are just fun levels and for those that were against them anyways, it took EXTRA SKILL to fight and navigate those stages. Final Destination, one-on-one, no items? One, that's boring, and two, you've eliminated a ton of the game making it not just boring but even less enjoyable in that sense too, and three, if you have enough skill you can make amazing use of items and obstacles in levels. I think you're a better player when you can adapt to more, not fix it up for less strategy. :-\
If those stages don't make it in, I shall miss them very much.
I loved Big Blue.
Ever since the first F-Zero game, that level and song have always been my favorite.

Flatzone and Big Blue are my 2 most favorite stages, right along there with Kirby 64 and Battlefield.

Nooooo...I loved messing around in Big Blue for fun, and now we will never know if Sonic is faster than an F-Zero racer.
