Like maybe 50 points a song? Here is how it would work. It would simply be a prompt on the Wii Shop Channel where you select a game you own like say DKC 3 for the SNES for example, and then it lists all the songs used in that game. You then pick a song, and then replace it with another one to create a custom patch for your game. If this were offered, I would gladly played to get the GBA Lakeside Limbo music on the SNES VC game. It wouldn't be too hard to implement, but I doubt too many people would bother.
Eh, I have my iPod for that.
I might. But honestly I don't see the point. Sure, it IS cheap...but I'd rather have real music like Matisyahu, Gorillaz, The Postal Service, etc.

So what make VG Music NOT real music?
No way. Very few people like video game music. Halo music is the only VG music I liked. And I got that for free. I will never pay for a song on a videogame, at least not from a nintendo game, that's pretty sad, but I never payed for VG music.

*Bleep* *BLEEP* *BLEEEEEEEEEEEEP*
There is
some music on the N64 I'd like to see on my iTunes (Such as Zelda), but I'd ultimately find it pointless on the Wii.
For that much money, no. I'd pay at most like $5 (or maybe up to $10 for a game with lots of music) to double the amount of songs in the game, not for a mere 10 songs.
Huelen, when are you going to realize your ideas are retarded and will never work and/or catch on for that matter?
Video game music, lol.
Why not just download the song for free and play it on the computer while playing the game?

Because then you do not get the sound effects, and you get audio coming from 2 different places.

Who are you to call my ideas retarded? This thread was a hypothetical question.

If it's Hypothetical, why make the thread?
Anyway, not exactly.

I would actually like to see remixed music in VC games.
Yes, but i don't think that nintendo would do that :-\
also this goes on the VC board ;)
How about 100 points a game? 50 a song is a lot of money, especially if you can't export it to an SD as an MP3.
no, not music expansions, maybe game expansions....like
300 points for Mario All Stars graphics in SMB-SMB3 or....
Zelda BSX graphics in LoZ and Zelda II or...
F-Zero X Expansion Pack...
