Best: Kirby: Cook Kirby is the obvious choice for his FS, and it's really effective without being overly powerful
Worst: Diddy or Yoshi: Anyone who's played DK64 knows that Diddy should have had his Guitar attack as an FS, but instead they decide to just combine his B and Up B? LAME! Also, Super Dragon is totally stupid--I know Yoshi has had both fire and flying attacks in the past, but this was still a poor choice for a FS when he could have had a Yoshi Stampede or something like that.

Not only that, but it's VERY hard to control.
Peach's seems useful, but it's totally random. And Wario's sucks, but Warioman is kinda his "ultimate form" in the Warioware games.

And ZSS' is the worst. All she does is get her suit back and cause some damage.
Yoshi's is one of the best ones... his fireballs are fast and hit for like 30% each! plus he has normal fire, which is surely really buff since it is a final smash. And he has free flight for the whole thing!
Worst I'd say ZSS since it seemingly has no effect except to become VSS again

But they don't, so there's no point in worrying about it; personally, I find it idiotic to hate a Final Smash because you were expecting something else, and not because the move itself was bad (both of which have great Final Smashes, BTW). Sakurai even explained the reasoning behind the attacks, but, as in all pathetic arguments, people turn their eyes from that and continue to spout worthless phonetics from their mouths.
Anyway, my best would be Triple Finish, and my worst would be Giga Bowser. I've just fallen in love with Triple Finish for some reason, and though Giga Bowser is powerful, he isn't invincible and those little attacks are going to catch up with him after the FS.

Mehh.. Sorry I was a bit angry when I was writing that.
Anyway, I think they're fine ideas, it's just that there isn't much originality to them. Stampedes are used a lot in games. (Servbot in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 ;)) I think their current FSes suit them fine and they don't have to necessarily be something that's iconic.
Best: Ike, Snake(has a huge damage potential), and Link
Worst: Peach(although, I can see how it would be useful)

Alot of old info hasn't been touched since the site's launch. Perhaps they're too lazy to realize, but the Smashballs appear more than once in the demos, and are able to be used more thn once by the same character.

If skill is the way to go I say Sonic...
If everyone has high damege I say Sonic again (hes fast and hits hard throughout the entire stage) and the rest of situations are up to you! :P

But it only works well in a tiny stage. Bigger stages have the meteors all spread out and they are therefore easier to avoid.

Worst-Peach
Ike's is awesome. He lifts em up, does a move similar to Links FS, then crashes and explodes. Basicaly an instant KO, and awesome to see.
Link's is ownage, but you need to damage em a bit or they wont fly far.
Samus's is just way too powerful.
And Peach's doesn't do much besides small damage recovery and cheap shots. Unless all damage meters are high, it won't be too useful in general.

So? It makes you ultra giant, ultra powerful (the guy in the 5-min. video got 3 KOs without getting hurt), gives you alternate powers (slash gives you shadow power, up B gives you ice power, etc.)... Sure it has its downsides, but so do all FS's. The point is, the pros outweigh the cons.

Yeah, its just not the best in my opinion. Its not bad, but not the best.
I know what you mean; I'd prefer to be Volt Tackle Pikachu or Cook Kirby any day.
