its allright. id get that in green and blue tho
It's a very nice
looking semi-hollow, but I'm not really able to say much about the guitar considering I've never used an Ibanez or actually any semi-hollow before. I've only ever played solid-bodies.

Uh...green and blue? With a sunburst? That'd look horrendous.
My uncle is a guitarist, and he swears by Ibanez. Probably not a bad pick.
I'm not really into Ibanez, but that's probably the intercourse ing awesomest looking guitar they've ever made. From what I know, Ibanez has the best for the buck.
If you wanna spend an extra 100 bucks, a Fender Strat or Fender Tele would be a good choice.

I'm going to guess that an Ibanez is probably a bit better than Epiphone.

It's a matter of personal preference. Both use sub-par hardware, so the only reason to prefer one over the other is the outer appearance, in this case the weight (les pauls are solid and that ibanez is semi-hollow), and of course the tone.
There are hardware differences, sure, but neither of them are astounding in that area.
