The new Turok game is awesome! I just got a demo of it and, while short, is very fun. Its been a long time since we had a Turok game, this one sort of relaunches the franchise a bit, I suppose since Tal 'Set(spl?) or Joseph Fireseed isint in it.
My friend has one of those. I don't see what's so special about it. It's just a game. :|

Eh, I'm expecting a huge disappointment if I ever even get around to playing it. So far, all of the Turok games' 1-player parts have been pretty boring once you beat them. The first didn't even have multiplayer, so that sucked.
Evolution's multiplayer was probably the best so far, at least in terms of the weaponry you can use. But the 1-player part of it just wasn't that great.
And the story of the new one is completely...off-track. What happened to the whole Son of Stone scheme? The new protagonist isn't even Native American like the Turoks before always have been.

It got a 7.0 from IGN.
That's not that good.
I played the demo of it a few weeks ago at a friend's house after a few bong hits, and we didn't even finish the demo before quitting and deciding it sucked. The controls were really poopty and the game felt dry and scripted.
My XBL Gold ran out so I can't download the demo until I renew it.
This makes me hope that Turok: Dinosaur Hunter for the N64 comes out on the VC soon though.
