Title: This game is going to sound great.
Post by: Tupin on February 02, 2008, 10:46:58 AM
I like how they have both the English and Japanese versions of songs with lyrics...

I am curious how they'll make the music that plays in Tom Nook's shop and the main theme from Animal Crossing songs you can fight to. :P

I can see the main theme of Animal Crossing with a little more precussion and sped up a bit.  It's hard to picture Nook's shop, but I would love to hear it.

No, we get both the Japanese and English versions of songs with lyrics, such as Mona Pizza and Ashley's Theme.

PLEASE tell me they did not mutilate Mona Pizza.  PLEASE.  That English Ashley song made me die on the inside.

Music makes everything better.
Remember Bowser's SMG fights? :D

Tom Nook's theme song makes up for the fact that he's not playable... kinda.

Ashley is like 10 in the games...

She sounds like she's in her 20's in the English version.

Well, not all the music has to sound "hardcore." For example, on the Tetra's Ship stage, you can hear the song from Dragon Roost Island, which wasn't exactly a song for fighting.

You can also select a music in the Sound Test and the music will still play even if you left the Sound Test! Example: Select one Pokémon music and the song will play while you're selecting a character or a mode. ;)
