Title: Why do people do stuff like this?

They buy games at outrageous prices because they are in their factory wrapping, AND NEVER PLAY THEM.

Games were meant to be enjoyed, the fact that people like looking at their boxes on the shelf makes me kind of sad, especially in a great game like Chrono Trigger.

What do you think of these people?

Show me a game that won't be worth that much in 50 years that's selling for that much, and I'll argue with you.

As a gamer AND as a collector, I have no problem with "people like that".

I bought a N64 controller I plan on never ever using.  Does that make me a bad person?

I've got a factory packaged version of Earthbound.

Dad bought it at release, but lost it and never found it.

Can't say it's mint condition, but it's in good shape! :)

Now, if I had an SNES, that's a DIFFERENT story! I'd be playing that EVERYDAY!
