Question:
There are three methods to unlock all of the characters. Which one will you use?
Option 1: SSE to unlock all of them
votes: 5
Option 2: Classic and other methods similar to it
votes: 2
Option 3: Certain # of vs. matches
votes: 3
Option 4: Some combination of the above
votes: 11
I'm probably gonna use the SSE to unlock all of them, unless there's a person or two that I just can't unlock.
A combo out of that list.
I think you have to use all of them to a certain extent. I know Sonic can only be unlocked by SSE, and I thnk Snake is only unlocked by battling on SMA 10 times...

why would you do that? The only character between M2 and Game/Watch is Roy, and you just beat Classic with Marth to get him. So just beat classic with roy and you get Game/watch

cause i unlocked him by target test but i reset the game and im like X_X screw it im doing matches now

Yeah, when I first got Melee I thought for some reason that playing 800 very quick vs. matches would be easier than playing for 20 hours... :P

I'm going to play SSE regardless, so I might as well do it first so I get a lot of unlockables. I can just spam vs. matches to get the rest of 'em.
but spamming vs matches isnt enjoying the game you should just play vs matches not spam them

Anyway I've changed my mind. I'll just use SSE. It seems you can unlock just about everyone by using it besides maybe Wolf and Toon LInk
matches are much faster though i mean tha max is just 450

450 is nothing if you played 700 for mewtwo

Im going to use a combination of the choices, seems that would be the most fun thing to do!
