Which service is better? My family is thinking about upgrading to FiOS (We don't have any cable right now :(), and I wanted to know which one would be the better choice. Which has better TV, Internet, or Phone services?
Oh, and if we did get FiOS, we would go with 15mbs internet package.
I use comcast and it is really good.
FiOS is the fastest of the Three with internet, but Comcast probably has better cable channels.
I have Time Warner :(
Comcast is extraordinarily expensive, but they're not lying when they say that they've got blazing fast Internet.
As for television, cable and satellite companies are pretty much alike...200 channels and nothing good is on.

It's better then the 6 channels that I have now. :P

Not really. Why pay for 200 channels of nothing when you can get 6 with nothing on for free?

Some stuff would be on cable. I know that I would get more sports, which is always a good thing. Plus, the reception on my TV now is really bad. Sometimes it's black and white, sometimes there is no sound, etc.
Get a better TV antenna and then get Comcast cable.
I have Charter. :(
FiOS is by far the fastest for internet, Comcast's cable sucks horribly, but their VOIP is good. And DirectTV has good service.
I have FiOS right now. I upgraded from Optimum/IO, and I have to say, I like verizon much better. The internet is hella fast and I like the cable channels on Verizon better[I had most of them already but some are new, I just like their placement better] It also has the funimation channel, if you're a fan of english dubbed animes of varying quality.
DirecTV, FTW! You can get so many packages, and has lots of HD support, and offers local channels FOR FREE. Oh, any many sports and movie packages, too. And did I forget to mention it comes with FM sattelite radio, too?
Also, if you've heard of it, you can package it with Quest Internet and Phone service to save money.
DirecTV, because, unlike Crapcast, they care about the consumer.

I've only had one problem with "Crapcast" and when I called them, within 15 minutes, they were here and fixed the problem. Maybe it's the area you live in.
Also, a word of caution if you do go with FiOS: Verizon doesn't give a poop about warrants and will hand over any information for any reason to any government agency. They've also said they're willing to spy (Read: Make poop up) for the MPAA and RIAA.
I have Verizon FiOS and I will say it is rather sweet and work very well.
