Title: has there been any update about the data transfer glitch?

I heard in December Nintendo would start fixing this, has there been ANY news at all on it?

you can transfer some data from PoR to RD but it won't work if you have any easy files on PoR, Nintendo said they would have a patch to fix this

Well if you have the game already, there is pretty much nothing you can do about it.  Just make sure you do not have an easy mode file on PoR when you transfer the data.

I don't know about any fixes they've made in it, although I'm sure you have at least one normal mode completion.

Oh, and you don't even need it. Sothe and coins are the only real benefits from it.
