Now, I don't know if every character is getting a masterpiece. But if they are, what are they gonna do about Snake's? ????

It'll be Metal Gear for the NES of course. He didn't originate on the Playstation y'know.

He didn't origionate on Nintendo either X_X;;
MS-X in Japan first, which is actually Microsoft's origional gaming attempt...
But it got ported to the NES, so I guess it's that one

It would be nice if we had gotten MG2, but since MSX is not even on the VC yet, I doubt MSX2 would be coming any time soon if ever.
