So, has anybody here actually played with the Chao system in those games?

I used to be really obsessed, beaten every race, gotten a few chaos Chao, gotten the rare gem colors, gotten invisible and transparent Chao, and have had a Chao with "S" rank in all stats :P

Of course! I've probaly have spend more time on Chao than on any other Video game I've ever owned. Though I'm not a major power racer or Karate, I'm a bit more Casual on my Chao, but I have a Flying Hero Chao.

I've dabbled a bit, but I never did get a Chaos Chao. >_>

Sonic Team should definitely incorporate it into more games.

I had quite the Chaos. :P

...but now, I don't even play either O_o;

Also, I found out a cool cloning trick if you owned both games. :P

All you need to clone is a GBA with no game pack, a GBA-GCN cable, and two memory cards each with SA2:B Chao data...
1. Take Chao to be cloned to Chao Transporter
2. Select Drop Off and select the connected GBA
3. Exit and select a file on the other memory card
4. Pick up the Chao from GBA
5. Use "Move" command in Chao transporter

...or atleast, that's the method I figured out myself. There might be others...
It works because the Chao remains in the GCN garden when you drop it off to the GBA if no cart is inserted. Usually, the game assigns a unique hidden Chao ID to the Chao and will delete the one currently in the GCN garden that has the same ID when you pick it up from the no-pack GBA. If no match for the ID is found, it won't delete any Chao and just pick it up from the GBA.

No, I took my DX Chao, transferred it to a GBA pack with no cartridge, then I put in SAB: 2, and dropped off the chao there. :P

Only one memory card needed too. :P

Well, the reason is the same. It's two different Chao garden files. My main problem with that method is that SA: DX's Chao Transporter lacks the "Move" command. Also, SA: DX just sucks in general with its Chao garden (the default action command is often "attack")

I had a few good ones in SA2:B. I want to play it (and maybe restart the game for fun) but it's 1:30 AM.
