Just awesome. My school has a bomb threat. Freakin' helicopters are flying around the school. AND I'M GETTING HIGH ON SKITTLES.
I'm forced into lockdown with the rest of the building I'm in. Thank God I have my laptop so I can talk to you guys. :O
My parents are worried sick, saying I should slip out of the building with some lame excuse that I have a doctor's appointment. Like security will buy that when ten other people tried the same tactic. xD
What should I do, NSF?

Sorry, I promised my stuff to Tolta. :-\
On another note, police are now combing the building. I might be asked to go back to the comfort of my home. :O

I had a bomb threat at my school a couple years ago. That lasted around half the entire day. That was fun. :D
But then there was somewhere around 18 more in that same school year, so it got old fast. :|
Is it lunch time? If it is I would go home.
also, become an hero!

Yeah, the first one was fine, but the others after that were made by some copycat. Everyone was getting really sick of them...

So your life is threatended and the first thing you did was go onto Nsider? :|
lol
when we got bomb threats this year, we were sent to a church and locked down there. o_O
but then again, our high school is operating way over capacity.
Skittles :P
hope you come out alive ;) :-[

They must be using really big combs.
rofl im funny
Anyways, I don't recall a bomb threat at my school, or at least not since I've been here.
Just sneak out :|
At my old school I had one and I just sneaked past security. Its really not that hard. (Strangely, it was harder to sneak out of the securuity breifing on the cruise...)

if they have all of the doors covered, it's not easy. The only real time to sneak away from a school under a bomb threat is either if you know it's about to happen, in which case you just leave, or if you're being evacuated, in which case you head to your car.
not easy to run either.
Finally I regain internet access. I'm still on campus, but it seems like the worst is over. Know one knows yet if the police caught the hooligans responsible. And darn it, I'm hungry, even after those Skittles. :( Hopefully I should be catching a ride soon.

Good thing you didn't, because bomb threat lock downs are a huge waste of time. -_-;

That's so true, especially with a school as large as mine. Security swarmed the campus pretty quickly.
Kinda figured that :-\
we had 3 in 5 school days last semester. by the third one, we were all like "now what?" :P
there hadn't been one for 4 years previous, and that was during exam week. :P
we haven't had one since the third one in five days, probably because it's too cold. they never caught the people responsible. -_-
Glad you got out OK.

They made me puke, but the high was worth it.
Bomb threats are huge wastes of time. So there's apparantly bomb in the building, and they force you to stay inside it?Smaaaaaaart. And the only reasons that you should stay is because everyone is a suspect ,and if you left everyone worries about what happened to you. You were on your laptop? During our lockdowns, everone has to stay to one side of the room with the lights turned off and not talk. Lucky for you.

Yeah, that is wierd that we had to stay in a building with a bomb in it. o_O Wtf my school officials are pretty dumb.
The classroom I was in had the lights turned off, but the lockdown started when everyone was changing classes, so the person in charge of my room was a janitor for the first hour or so. xD He didn't care what we did as long as we kept calm.

Wow that sucked. I hate it when they don't catch the criminal, it makes it seem even more a waste of everyone's time. >:(
1. Tell everyone your laptop is a bomb.
2. Throw it in the hall.
3. Yell to the officers/cops.
4. Get suspended.
5. ???
6. Profit!
That happened to me once.
We stayed until 7:30 PM and we were supposed to be released at 3:40 :-\
