Title: Hardest subject?
Post by: Waker_Of_The_Winds on February 21, 2008, 04:17:27 PM
I know a lot of you will probably say math, but that is actually the easiest for me.

I think it's Literature/English. First off, there's all of these essays which are worth a TON of points. And if you intercourse  up you're screwed. Plus there's all these questions about what does blah blah blah symbolize? It's just gay. Every things else is a lot easier. In social studies, math, and science, language etc you just have to remember all the facts.

Math, foreign languages, and gym

everything else was a snap.

Scriptures is the only one I do poorly in. I just don't care enough to remember anything.

Also, I go to a private school, that's why I have that class.

I'm not a very fit person, and those retired army guys are jerks when it comes to coaching

...foreign language >:( *twitch* *twitch*
though i dropped that course (i'll deal with it in college i suppose) so i guess english, though it's not really hard. it's mainly just a little irritating. In my opinion, none of my courses are hard. in fact i find most of them quite enjoyable.

lol gym

For me it's probably english. I'm just bad at science for some reason, but I wouldn't call it hard.

I suppose AP US History, because I just can't get into most history enough to memorize all those names and events in order :P

not true.  The slope intercept form is extremely fundamental in practical statistics among other things.

some math is useful i.e. adding and subtracting, and some other stuff, but most of it is USELESS for the average person

Not when you get into harder formulas.
I keep going back to it. It's really easy.

Otherwise,  I loathe science.
I don't care about anything in that class.

Maybe I'm making it hard for myself. :x

For me, science. But that's because of how wide of a subject it is. Right now my historical geology class is the most confusing thing I've ever suffered through. I hated Physics too.

However, I love Biology.

I'm the opposite good with Physics and geology and other sciences like astronomy, but I hate Biology, its the whole dissection thing I can't stand

For me high level math and physics. I've also had trouble with math past middle school and I still struggle with these courses today.

I'm good at most other sciences, physical education, history, english, languages but not most of the math. >.<

Social Studies, I guess....I really hate it.

Math is the easiest subject, in my opinion.

English and Social. I'm good at every subject, I just didn't do the three biggest projects for the marks and then didn't do about five other assignments.

math, for sure.  closely followed by chemistry  (physics is a complete joke with my current teacher.   a complete joke.).  Then again, I'm in calculus in grade 12, which is usually a university course.  I've always sucked at math though.

English/History is incredibly easy for me.  As long as it sticks to discussions, I can get huge marks in the courses.  but when it comes time for an exam, I inexplicably have problems (had a 95% on the course in english last semester, 67% on the exam, dropped my term mark nearly 10%).

Good boy. <3

Calculus and Organic Chemistry are the two toughest courses that I've ever taken; I have to retake organic again senior year.

Physics is a close third, but now that I actually understand the math, it'll probably be a lot easier than it was in high school. I also had a history course where I needed to churn out a 25-page paper, but that was more time-consuming than difficult.

I would totally agree with you that English is the hardest one for me--at least, English class that requires writing papers. A few years ago when we were doing grammar? Yeah, I rocked at that. :P

This semester my hardest class is American Government. Actually my hardest is probably old testament survey but government seems harder because I hate it but I rather like the survey class, lol.

No, I just can't switch out of it now without screwing my courses up because you need to get to level 3 of a language and I am already in the end of Latin 2. Meaning I do not have enough time to do Spanish.  :(

So you don't have a problem with all those metaphors and symbolism and all that crap?

Gaming. ._.

There are so many twists and turns and unexpected rules in the Regulations of the Nevada Gaming Commission and State Gaming Control Board that like, counteract each other.  Thank GOD the tests are going to be open-book.

But the teacher does have a lot of funny stories about when he worked at Casinos.  So that makes up for everything.

Bio. is my favorite. Although, Environmental Science...is...a...nightmare. I regret it and wish I would have taken a different class. I like gym and hate it because I didn't have enough room to fit it in my schedule so I have to take it as a senior as my second year :( I wish sports after school counted as gym credits.
