Title: D:
Post by: LinkXLR on February 24, 2008, 01:57:02 AM
:( My DS just broke...I dropped it and it's upper right-hand corner chipped off. The screen isn't firm anymore and it won't fold. The piece won't go back on without falling off again.

For once, I'm glad I bought the extended warranty.

Still...it was a good DS...

My release date DS Fat developed this ugly orange tint on the top screen sometime last October. It doesn't make the games unplayable, just really ugly looking and messes with the textures, especially on games like Mario Kart DS. Because I didn't get extended warranty, I have to get a new DS Lite.

yay

What a great person... >_>

When your baby wrecks something of someone else's, you don't just say, "It's alright, it's not her fault, she's only a baby!", you say, "I'm sorry, I'll fix it/buy you a new one."

Wait... how the heck would a baby unscrew the cover to the battery?

My blue DS phat from, what, summer of 05 still works perfectly fine. And I'm surprised that it's still in such good condition.

I've still got my launch DS fat. Works exactly like new. Only thing changed is the fact that it's scratched. No cracks or anything.

The R button must be pressed all down and instead of tapped like the L button but other than that it works fine.

Yeah, same. Plus, the battery life was practically non-existant. That's why I got a DS lite.

1.Do it to her.
2.Use the same excuse.
3.Make sure the item you do it to cost less than your DS, but a decent amount.($50)
4. ????
5.Profit.

Well, it lived a good, long life (?). It's far better than somebody else here whose PSP was destroyed when he accidentally knocked it into a toilet.

I got my DS about 2 months after they launched.  It still works as good as it did the day I bought it.  Outside cover is a little scratched up, but that's it.
