My sister and her husband are addicted to it, but I tried it and find it incredibly boring. All it is is grinding, and I hate that.
If you care, I'm Djneonshorts, a level six rogue gnome from the Lollipop Guild. Don't know what server it is though.
WoW is not a game for everyone ;D
I used to play. Stopped at 48.
Really, I don't see why you hate the beginning of it. It's really fun when you start out. I just got too bored to make it to 70 in my case.
Yea, I feel the same way. I don't know why there are so many addiction problems to the game.
I would much rather prefer Silk Road or something. (Not like I play much of that either, but it's still fun.)
BTW, I reached up to level 24 if anyone cares.
Questing really reduces the grinding, but right now, I'm about level 47, and sorta bored.

I did quest.
It's just boring to me.
I really don't understand how some people can get so addicted to it.
I played on a private server for about 3 days, and all I found myself doing was just running around from town to town doing meaningless quests.
Im lvl 3 and already bored...
I miss regular Warcraft.
The one where I used to build up massive armies of Troll Axe Throwers, Ogre Mages, Dragon Riders, and various Naval Machines of War to crush all who stood against me!
Cower beneath the Orc Armies ye mortal for I am Gerchak the Destroyer of Worlds!
I tried the ten day free trial, but found it to be quite boring. I did make a few "friends", but it wasn't worth a subscription.
The game slows down a tiny bit after 70 since you choose to either PvP or PvE, although theres usually always something to do, the game stays interesting. Personally as with all other MMO's I can only play them if I have real life friends who play :) I like it, still play, very fun, but it does soak up a lot of time so I don't/can't dedicate myself to the hardcore end-game guilds
